The UFC is known for its exciting fight week events in Las Vegas, but this past weekend had some surprises. Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor’s press conference took place at a hotel in Russia with many Russian media outlets in attendance. Khabib was asked about his thoughts on the upcoming fight and he responded “I cannot wait to get my hands on him.” Khabib went on to say that he plans to dominate Conor McGregor and win the fight. Khabib stated “I’m going to make him humble, a little bit teach him, and a little bit– who knows? We’ll see.”
Conor was also asked about Khabib during the press conference which took place in Russia with many Russian media outlets present. The crowd got rowdy when Conor began talking about Khabib’s manager Ali Abdelaziz calling himself this generation’s Don King. When Khabib was asked how he felt about what Conor said regarding his manager he replied “My father is my age,” referring to Khabi’s father being 57 years old while Khabib 30-years-old. Khabib also said that he was Khabib’s father not manager.

The main event Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Conor McGregor will take place Saturday night at the new home of combat sports, the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia. Both fighters have been booked to appear on late night talk shows while they are both still being featured on press conference tours worldwide as well. There is no doubt that this historic event will be one for fans to remember forever!
