Early life
Kevin Perez was natural on April 20, 1999, in the Bronx, Original York. He later described the area as dangerous. He is cousins with fellow NYC drill rapper than gz, who goes by the name Daniel Collins. Perez’s half-brother is another fellow NYC drill rapper jowvttz, who goes by the name Johnny Hernandez. They share the same father.
Career
Ksy flock began her music career in May 2020, releasing her debut single fto, other songs released since include opp spotter (featuring b lovee), featuring b lovee and Dougie b), and PSA. Flock releases his debut mixtape the DOA. The tape, on November 5, 2021, peaked at the number one album chart. In August he released it is ya ready, the song was named by journalist john catamenia and is the top 28 songs of 2021. He later Released being honest a sample of changes by xxxtentacion. The song was called reminiscent of G Harbo and was included in pitchfork’s top 28 rap songs of 2021 and Top 100 Songs of 2021. A remix of the song, featuring included G. Herbo, was released in November.
In October, he was featured on Lil Tje’s “Not in the Mood”, which also featured Fave Farren. The song sickly-looking at number 61 on the Announcement Hot 100. In November, Key Flock was named Billboard’s Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month. During an interview with XXL, he stated that his rapping style was compared to King Won and Pop Smoke, with Asian Doll stating that Won would have been a fan of Flack. In April 2022, Kay Flock released “Jiggle It” with Dougie B and Cardi B, containing Bory300; it sickly-looking at number 51 on the Commercial Hot 100. The track was leaked months ago, though the leaked version of the song featured Yonkers rapper Mola Jez, whose verse was replaced by Cardi.
LEGAL ISSUES
On December 23, 2021, it was reported that Perez was arrested after allegedly shooting and killing 24-year-old Oscar Hernandez, also known as OY Wasca and/or Honcho, in Harlem, New York. According to the New York Police Department, on December 16, 2021, Perez was walking past a barber shop near the crime scene. Hernandez ran out of the store before being allegedly shot in the neck and back by Perez. Hernandez later succumbed to his injuries at Mount Sinai Hospital. After Perez was named as the main doubtful in the examination, he twisted himself into the NYPD on December 23. He is currently facing charges of first-degree murder and is being held at Rikers Island.
On February 23, 2023, Perez was indicted on federal charges of murder, attempted murder, and fraud against Seaside/DOA personnel and was transferred from Rikers Island to prison pending trial. If convicted of all charges, he faces mandatory life in prison or the death penalty.
